Hello sky-addicts, adrenalin junkies and fans: we finally got online. It was about time for such an important skydiving team, I bet we're amongst the first teams to have our own web page. What? You havn't heard of The Flying Bricks yet? Where have you been? We're working on getting our own www.flyingbricks.com address! Well, maybe not quite yet...
Here he is, the master mind, the creator, the mother of them all! Flying Brick #1, who also operates under the pseudonym "Fred Masterson", in front of the good old Skydive Colorado building. While SDC is long gone, old tale, Brick #1 still braves the odds and ends of today's harsh life. Barely surviving his work week with regular injections of adrenalin and nicotin, he keeps driving the team forward in its successful quest to be the number one....
Watch out, here he comes: Flying Brick #2, Nathan Poplinger. Hyper-active Nathan just finished his latest video production Da Bricks Do Eloy, you can order it from our online catalog of Bricks paraphernalia. Brick #3, by the way, holds the record in jugging large quantities of beer and he is also one of our strongest candidates for additional jet propulsion during flight, especially after visiting a Mexican restaurant....
This is Flying Brick #3 aka "Bill Wuertz". Don't be fooled by his nice boy-next-door smile. This Brick is mean and lean, always ready to sabotage other teams in order to get the best seat on the plane. He is even known to have his own aircraft, which he regularly misuses to scare his wife. This Brick can't be stopped and he is working hard on his evil master plan to infiltrate the skydiving community with new recrutes that he doesn't fail to produce himself!
You've waited for this all your life! Meet Flying Brick #4: Let us tell you, this Brick is really the nicest of them all! Gentle, smart, caring, always trying to keep the team spirit high! (Did you figure who makes these pages?) This Brick, also known as "Jürgen Lobert", never fails to be creative. He was the chosen one, the glorious genius who created this team's name. Rumors have it that he was using crayons to scribble the name and logo on some table cloth in a cheap street cafe in downtown Ft. Collins during one of his epilepsy strokes, but we all know that this is some inferior attempt to diminish his ingenuity. Unfaithful Brick#4 has since left Colorado to enjoy warmer winters in California, but Brickette#1 is replacing him just fine (most of the time, anyway...).
Finally, the Brick Vidiot, Flying Brick #5, the extended arm, the birds eye, the angel who hovers above our dear Bricks, spreading his wings wide to protect his fellow jumpers from the evil of the world (or to stay up with us floating farts). Bill Jackson, the master of pics, always ready to shoot (with that wide-angle lens in order to keep us in frame).
